Simple approach
Use biplane MOD when available. If several sources are present, the automatic rule should select the most complete and highest-quality volume source.

LA volume source selection compares device-derived and EchoRApp-calculated measurements. Review the selected source when volume and indexed volume do not match the image impression.
- Biplane MOD is preferred because it uses both 4CV and 2CV views.
- Monoplane values are useful fallbacks when one view is not measurable.
- Indexed volume depends on body surface area and should be interpreted with the report demographics.
The selected indexed volume drives the LA size summary.
