Schlomo Aschkenasy, MD
Chief Medical Officer and CTO
Founder
Schlomo Aschkenasy, MD
Schlomo is a practicing clinical cardiologist and software developer. EchoRapp started as a software tool he built for himself to make reporting possible in line with clinical guidelines, fit better into the workflow at his practice, and give him peace of mind that he had not missed any important details in the echos. What started as a solution to his own daily workflow has become his life’s mission to give other cardiologists and sonographers the same level of clinical confidence and support. His goal is to build EchoRapp around the reality of how echocardiography is reported in real clinical practice, by using software to guide the work where clinicians need help while leaving the clinical judgement and final decisions with them.
Paola Daniore, PhD
CEO
Founder
Paola Daniore, PhD
Paola’s guiding mission is to help clinicians use digital health to strengthen their clinical expertise while keeping them fully in control. This motivated her PhD in digital health epidemiology and continues to shape her research in responsible AI in healthcare. She leads MediRapp with the belief that technology should help all clinicians perform echocardiography reporting more responsibly by following the clinical guidelines and using AI only where it makes sense clinically. The goal is to help clinicians do what they already strive to do every day: deliver state-of-the-art echocardiography with the peace of mind that important findings are never missed.
Goran Lazarov
Software Developer
Goran Lazarov
Goran leads the development of the technology that connects EchoRapp with the systems hospitals and practices already use — from imaging devices to patient records — so cardiologists can adopt it without changing how they work. From architecture to on-site commissioning, he ensures the platform runs reliably in every clinic that depends on it.
